The story
Mariah, an experienced model, was really struggling to love herself after a back surgery left a long scar along the length of her spine. She and her mom had followed my Instagram for years and wanted me to help them with the situation. So we all got together and did this shoot to help Mariah, basically in their backyard in Tennessee, and we added some fashion concepts to the shoot as well.

Sense of entitlement
There are times I'm fine with doing trade shoots. The support I get from you folks makes a big difference, so I'm not limited just to selling my services when I want to create art.This shoot, being honest, was a wakeup call. It helped me to solidify, in writing, what the policy needs to be when someone agrees to certain trade concepts, and I drive a significant distance to make the shoot happen, but then they suddenly try to change the concepts on me, on-site, and assume I'll just go...
