Character Setup Complete!
I've finished the setup work for our Girl Dragon lead - "J-9". She now has full cloth simulation on top of muscle simulation. Still working out a few kinks but it's getting really good!This is also an example of the quality to expect with instanced ground scattered foliage and debris.Also - her black color scheme works best with the environment and was also voted on by Render Masters.

Dragon Girl Colors
This is for Render Masters to vote on, if not already done on Discord. Also available shortly on the mega drive for Render Dragons and Masters to view original files. This is using the old body physics solver for all of the body, tissue solver is still being tricky.
Full Body Muscle, Tissue & Skin Simulation
Thanks to recent developments in Houdini 19, I've taken the time to research and develop the new Vellum tools available for muscle, tissue and skin simulation. New Character - Deer Guy
Might have a vote for the name of this guy on completion.. He's been through zbrush, substance and now imported to redshift for some grooming and testing out the new tools for hair in Houdini 19, hence why he looks.. Naked u3u Also he has a 3x3 UDIM tile UV layout for that extra crisp body texture resolution, this is the first time I've tried this with an animated character, and I usually use it on massive terrains :D
Nuke Test
Been playing around with Houdini 19's new Shockwave Explosion shelf tool for future shots with gigantic explosions in Mechdragon animations. Added in some quick rbd buildings getting shattered for good measure.

We're now up to the last stages of rendering where we create the last shots! We should have a new animation out by Halloween! Keep an eye out :D
Over 100 Hours of Rendering!
Hey everyone! We've officially gone past 100 hours of rendering on our Megavalion animation. I created this at the beginning of last week, and have been working on it all week. Now with 3/5 main shots completed, we're close to the final animation being released by the end of next week! Exciting! Powering Through Shots
Now that we've established most of the simulation tools and rendering settings we need to get through the first scene, things are speeding up! Here's some frames from overnight renders. As always, I'm updating the dropbox folder shot by shot, so we get to see the animation as it's made, as well as the final cut :D -Eva

APIC fluid sim preview!
Working on shot #2 and we're already ankle-deep in some fluid simulations! Here's the initial fluid being tossed about as a preview! This is a second that happens off-camera and it lets the sim initialize with the objects. I'll show what the full sim looks like for render dragons and masters when it's calculated ^^
First Shot Rendering!
I've begun the process of creating the first animation proper now that the scene is set, I've animated and finalized all the kinks to render shot#1. Here's frame 64! Stomach Render 4K FULL
Last time I made this animation for 8 day it was 3 seconds and 15 fps.. Now it's 10 seconds, 24fps and at 4K, with all simulations re-rendered at a higher resolution too!Thank you for your support!
