August 2020 WIP: Swim Team Showers
The winner of the August Sketch Poll was #1. Too Shy to Shower!I want to apologize since unfortunately, I was unable to finish this piece in time, due to the California wildfires that have been burning this month. I live right near the edge of one of them, which made it hard to work due to all the smoke and evacuation warnings. I hate to use excuses because at the end of the day, the finished piece wasn't delivered as promised.I plan to continue working on this and finishing it within the co...

July 2020 Illustration: Hyouza
The winner of the July Sketch Poll was #3. Hyouza & the Ghost Hands! You might notice that it's a little different from the sketch, as what usually happens between the sketch phase and the finished phase. I reworked the anatomy and some stuff, balanced the composition a little, and added a gushy mess 👀 Hope you enjoy!Next month, I had an idea I wanted to try, instead of doing another pinup. I want to start a sequence of illustrations that tell a story, much like my Nude Beach Bus illustra...

A lot of days went into studying and experimenting with painting styles that I hoped would match with how I draw my characters. I hope it was wo...

Yet More Changes Going Forward!
(This post is about the $6 reward tier. The $2 and $10 reward tier are both unaffected!)Hello Patrons!First off, I want to apologize for the lack of Hey Robatsu updates this month! It's embarrassing to admit that I underestimated the creative toll it takes to write two stories simultaneously, which is honestly a fast and easy way to burn oneself out. I'm still learning my limitations and capabilities as an artist, and my mistake was trying to be both an artist and a writer for two ongoin...

(PROCESS) Mutuals Only #4 - Flood
Someone asked me if I showed the process of my work on Patreon, and I thought that was a great idea! So from now on, I'll upload posts like this for each of my Mutuals Only pictures. I may go back and do one for each of the three previous ones. All background photos for my Mutuals Only pictures are taken and provided by me. I wanted to use real photos to give these pictures a more "real world" feel (and also I am absolutely terrible at painting photorealistic backgrounds lol).Anyways,...

Sales Tax Requirement in certain regions on Patreon (effective July 1st)
Hey everyone! Some of you should be getting an email very soon from Patreon about a new sales tax requirement being charged to some pledges, effective July 1st, due to laws being passed in several countries. They mention that patrons affected will be less than half and the amount charged on top of your pledge is minimal, and it also depends on what you're receiving from your pledges. You can read more about it here.I believe this more applies to content such as physical merch or digital goods...
