Oops You Walked In On Him...I realized that this is the first time he's actually in color! April 2021 Sketches & Poll: Takoyakita Stripping
Hey everyone! We're doing a little bit of time traveling, starting with April! Gonna try and focus some of my energy on catching up on the monthly illustrations.Upon reflection, I think I raised the bar too high for myself with these illustrations, having big set pieces with multiple characters, when it started with a Yakitora solo pin-up. I loved doing the big illustrations, but they ended up taking way too much time that I wanted to spend on my other content. With that said, let's get t...

April Updates
Hey everyone!Sorry for the long radio silence; a lot has been happening in my personal life this month that has kept me from investing the time needed to focus on art. I hate having to use excuses because at the end of the day, a missed update is a missed update, or in this case, several missed updates.Although I don't want to get into details, all I can promise is that I'll be working hard to catch up on as much of the missing updates as I can in the following week and next month. Comic Update and Burnout! π©
It's been a long time coming, but burnout finally caught up to me and hard! I'll be postponing the next comic update to next weekend instead, to catch a bit of a breather and not rush these pages. I'm sorry to make you wait longer! Fortunately, the amount of comic updates this month stays the same!Looking at next month though, I'll have to make some changes to prevent this from happening again. Unfortunately, I won't be able to finish it before the end of the month, but I'll have it for you within the first few days of February for sure! You may notice that it looks pretty different from the sketch, in terms of style. I restarted the lineart a couple times because I just wasn't feeling the energy in it, so in this iteration, I opted to have some fun and go with a toonier sty...
