Kirby: OoD - Old Scenes and their Redraws 2
Adding some new abilities for Kirby was more of a challenge than you might think. Just about everyone in the fandom has something they'd like to see Kirby use. I went with something simple, a Shield ability. I went with a more Captain America vibe for the final draft of it to show off how it might be implemented. The Squeak Squad even shows up to cause trouble. I'm setting them up as major players in the sequel.

Such a big project was so far above my skill level at the time. Now, at least I have enough skills to get across what I want. Here are some of the scenes I made for the story and their old counterparts.
Kirby: Odyssey of Dreams, a Kirby RPG
I always envisioned this story to be RPG-focused much like some of my favorite titles from Square back in the day. However, I don't think turn-based mechanics would mix well with Kirby's playstyle. Perhaps something like Kirby Quest would be a little better. How many of you out there would love to see a Kirby RPG?
Kryl, The Unhappy Minion
Kryl first started as a character that was supposed to parody, 'edgy' OCs that would sometimes appear in fandoms at the time. I had him show up, only to then get stomped by Meta Knight. He then quickly starts to lose his composure as the story moves on. Instead, the ultimate character trait Kryl embodies in this story is that he is a character that cannot become a friend to Kirby.
The Mechanical Clone, Mecha Kirby
I always liked machines and robotic characters in media. So in my story, Escragoon uses his engineering skills to create Mecha Kirby! Only, Mecha Kirby develops into much more as time goes on! Interestingly, after a few short years, Planet Robobot became an actual thing! Imagine my surprise!
Marx , The Mad Jester
Marx has always been popular with Kirby fans, so I made him appear as a major antagonist in my story. He provides much like he does in the game, but this time he runs into the Dark Matter!
The Chivalrous Warrior, Meta Knight
Meta Knight was always one of my favorite characters in Kirby. So much so, that the only crime he committed was not appearing in the Dark Matter trilogy. His anime counterpart gave him some good traits too. As a matter of fact, Meta Knight is the most interesting character in the anime. It's too bad that storyline was so heavily buried in the anime.
King Dedede, The Self-Proclaimed King and Escargoon
At first, I didn't like Dedede's portrayal in the anime as I felt it was a bit too far from his game counterpart. I would have understood the change better if it was being portrayed as an origin story for him as he was a little meaner in the beginning and softened over time. That's what I went with in my story. Also, that southern drawl the voice actor gives him fits darn well!
The Aspiring Artist, Adeleine
In the early Kirby days, Ado and Adeleine were heavily speculated to be two different people. Now, the Kirby community seems to have swayed the other way. However, there is no definitive word on the matter. In my story though, Adeleine and Ado are separate entities, twin sisters, if you will. when I do the sequel, Adeleine's history will be explored!
Ribbon, The Fairy Guide
Ribbon was always a little tough to draw since she only had 3D models at the time. When she got more art with the resurgence in Star Allies I had more refs to pull from. Here, I thought adding the little button nose worked well for the character's cute factor.
The Big Sister, Tiff Ebrum
Tiff was a neat character added to the anime. She acts mainly as Kirby's voice due to him being so young. However, there were some traits I didn't really enjoy but I find a lot of potential in Tiff. When I drew her I felt the need to bring her more in line with that trademark Kirby cuteness. I gave her blush marks and made her hair a little messier.
The Wandering Bandana Waddle Dee
Waddle Dee appears as a participant in the fan fiction but since he never appeared in the anime, I had to introduce him.
Kirby, The Star Warrior
A long time ago I created a fan fiction called Kirby: Odyssey of Dreams. It was inspired as an RPG and based on the anime continuation of Kirby. This was the first pic I did and years later I redrew it!
Phat Akane Rhythmic Gymnastic Edit
I do like leotards a lot and Akane looks great in yellow. This is one of my favorite edits as I believe it came out rather well!

A better swimsuit but I think my favorite is the Jellyfish swimsuit.

Kind of a weird outfit but the big one makes me want to press my hands into that belly of hers, lol!

Not her best swimsuit but it's ok. One of my first edits so it wasn't very good around the head area but I still think it looks ok.
Chubby Akane Tendo Super Soba Contest
I like to use edits to warm up or fight art block. Here I decided to chub up Akane in the episode where she eats the Super Soba. It looks like in this version she has another side effect, lol!
Tubby Techs: Adipose Bomb
These are by far my best ones and I hope to only get better from here! I always love how squishy they look!
Tubby Techs: Bonus, Schala and Zeal
Schala is really pretty and she fills a gown quite well! Her mother is also quite the heavy one!
Tubby Techs: Ayla's Ample Apptitude!
Ah, Ayla, she seems to be a favorite among many fans of Chrono Trigger. While she is sexy and exotic, I like my marshmallow tomboy princess, lol!
Concept Art: Ty Drayguard and Tomo Levine. OC's for Chrono Corruption.
Ty and Tomo were the first ever OC's I developed for such a large story. I'm beyond happy that I completed that project.
Tubby Techs: Lucca, Larger Than Life!
Lucca was always one of my favorites. She was originally the character I was going to try and ship with my OC Ty Drayguard, but I decided against it in the end because I created Tomo Levine.
Tubby Techs: Marle, Master of Mass!
Interestingly, before the days of the internet, Marle was the first true character I BBW'ified. That notepad no longer exists though. At the time I hid it under my bed, lol. I never dreamed others like larger ladies too! Then again I was just a blossoming teen!
Pudgy Peach Progression (Old)
As a gamer, Peach was on the list of characters I wanted to draw. I can't remember why she was in a bunny suit though, but I'm not complaining.
Round Rikku (Old)
One of the largest pics I've ever done. I'd love to add more FF ladies to the list! Her hair was a nightmare.
Majin Buulma Sequence
One of my favorite concepts to work on. I plan on remaking this entire sequence and even doing this to other characters as well! This was my first sequence of a character both transforming and gaining weight.
Phat Asuka Langley
I can't remember why I drew this character as it was so long ago. I don't like this anime but I know lots of folks do. I have a thing for purple lingerie and undies. I think it's a sexy color.
Phat Shampoo and Ukyo
The two cooks of the series always seemed rather plush anyway, lol. These are another two that will have their outfits completely changed when I revisit these.

When I make more of these I'm gonna choose a good swimsuit from the actual show for her.
