Keep adjusting lighting until happy, final test render.

Everything visible, adjust lighting, more test renders.

Make things visible again, getting the lighting set up, apply materials.

More copy pasta, got everything else set invisible so I can see what I'm doing.

Imported into Vue and copy pasta.

The scene is set, time to save and import this into Vue Infinite 2014.6.

Poser 6 has begun to lag badly now so I save and switch to Poser 2014, it's better software but I'm not too fond of the library layout. It's growing on me though. Add in the rest of the house - interior, exterior and a dining room setup that I created previously. Most of this won't even be visible in the final render but some of it will be visible in reflections. I only use raytraced reflections, I absolutely refuse to use reflection maps. Resize to match figure scaling, I've lengthened the characters legs plus she's in heels but I want her to be quite petite so some jiggery pokery is required so she's resting naturally against the countertop. This is where Posers Hierarchy Editor comes in very handy indeed.

If you're wondering why only one glass or cup per shelf that's because once I've transferred the scene to Vue I can copy and paste objects, once I've created a row of them I can copy and paste the whole row, etc. One hell of a time saver.

Taking too long, move her out the way then load stuff up in batches then position.

Like most sets there's a distinct lack of actual stuff that makes the difference between a showroom and a home. Time to rectify that.

Add kitchen.

Set glass material to opaque so I can see what the hell I'm doing and make sure her fingers are wrapped around the glass of wine and not into it.

Got the character set up and posed, add prop. I'm taking her out of the grunginess of the scene I previewed earlier and putting her in a much more everyday setting.

A pretty decent likeness but with my take on it, seamless second skin with integrated footwear. This is the character shown in the previous previews but here she's featuring in a Patron exclusive production.

Final test render with preview pane maximised. Everything looks fine so she's ready to render. This ones destined for the Renderotica Premier gallery, got to get some more pics in there unless I want to lose my Featured status. Next up a rather more detailed run through, probably a bit too detailed but meh.
