[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.68 - TAKE YOU HOME

usually you're bright red by the time i start laying it on this thick______First page of the new year! I remembered to change the copyright this year, which is a first in the 11 years we've been making this comic. We've been working a lot behind the scenes as of late and I'm so thrilled we still managed to get the page out early this week!As we approach the end of TOY we're getting amped up for the next story, and we've had a blast planning both TOY's ending and the s...

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.67 - I WANT YOU TO READ

just saying, we're gonna have a problem if this frightens you______Hey again guys! Hope your holidays and end-of-year have been lovely to you so far! Here's a new page, plus the sketch we promised you ♥

Holiday Update ♥

milo this gift was not an invitation for you to put on this hat and try to kiss me while impersonating santa________Happy holidays, lovelies ♥ We're gonna leave this print here, along with some WIP stuff! We'll drop a hi-res version into the Dropbox, too! We'll get the next update up a week earlier than the public page for you guys; we're estimating around Dec 28th based on what we can reasonably get done around IRL obligations and holiday prep. Public pages will resume on Jan 3...

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.66 — JUST ONE THING

last step in closing up is a recreation of the dance scene in 'risky business'... can't let clean hardwood floors go to waste____I had waaay too much fun with the paneling on this page, but it's fun to get to visit these buildings again and see how far we've come! Last time we saw both of these buildings (here, here, and here) don't seem that long ago, but it's already been over two years (in the Pre-COVID times, how crazy is that?). Since then, I've made some rea...

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.65 — AFTER THE LAST PIECE

oh good, less frightening was what i was going for, for once____Happy December, lovelies! Where did this year go? The time between each December feels shorter every year. We hope it's treated all of you well, and that the next year has lots of good to bring with it! We're really glad you're here with us as we tell this story ♥New passwords (and a bunch of new content) for the Dropbox will go out tomorrow afternoon, so keep an eye on your DMs for that! \o/

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.64B — ASIDE

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.64 - NO ONE'S EVER ASKED

hope this place isn't combustible because i'm on FIRE______Heyhey Suzana here! I wanted to drop a quick message with the upload today! It was Owen's birthday this Friday and I spent some time doodling, I'll attach a couple of those sketches here♥We've been looking forward to this part of the story for so long, pretty much any time Milo screwed up a job! It's been such a ride and I'm so excited for it, I couldn't resist drawing the boys at the beginning of their ...

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.63 - CRANK THE ENERGY UP

...do you promise______The amount of fun we have making this comic is directly proportional to how dorky we make it, I think ♥

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.62 - KNOW WHAT, ZOOKEEP?

milo knew this song long before this audition, of course_____Writing joke lyrics like this is probably one of my favorite things I get to write.

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.61 - DIDN'T EXPECT THAT VOICE

it'd be weird to if we came all the way here and he couldn't do the voice, neil____Since this seems to be where our work schedule is falling as we get accustomed to new responsibilities, we've decided Suzana and I are gonna dial it back to once-a-week uploads for a little bit. We'll keep getting faster as we keep making pages, but hopefully by the time we switch back to two pages a week, we'll have had the chance to get a little buffer going. ♥ Plus we don't like making...

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.60 - GIVE IT A TEST

eh it's fine, it's not like he's NOT perfect for the role_________We're getting there, slowly but surely. ♥ Every page we finish teaches us how to finish pages in this new living situation; we're just gonna get faster and faster as we go. It's crazy to be this many years into making comics and still feeling brand new at it when we undergo major life changes, but all things considered we can't really complain! We're not feeling exhausted, at least; hopefully we&#...

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.59 - EXCITED TO RECORD

you might even say excruciating! :)_______We planned to have this one done so much earlier, Tuesday even— and to maybe even have another couple pages done for a buffer... we'll get there, lovelies. Thank you always for your kindness; it really sincerely puts a little extra pep in our step these days ♥

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.58e - ASIDE

definitely not playing a colorful puzzle game to kill time so i don't have to go in alone____Sorry guys, it's gonna be a little on the late side as we finish getting set up and back into the groove of pagemaking! Catch me sweating like Milo as I try to post this up before another day passes, lol. Sending a lot of love and appreciation for your patience this month, I have a bunch of sketches to go into the Dropbox tomorrow but here's another Liam in the meantime♥♥

We're back! ♥

Next page will go up on Patreon tomorrow; apologies for the delay, guys. ♥We're happy, and we're healthy, and we're safe, but we are just so tired! We're settling into our new normal; our new responsibilities are very easy to manage and have been nothing but a source of sheer joy and delight thus far, but it's taken us a lot of effort to try to figure out how to fold comics back into our daily schedule.I think it's just going to be one of those things that's gonna m...

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.58d - ASIDE

oops youre a bit tousled did i do that ;) ;) ;)____Thanks so much for your patience guys; we are so excited this page is finally done, because we are now clear to drive out first thing in the morning! This 4koma took a particularly long time (despite how simple it is) to make alongside packing our car, but we're really happy with how this scene came out. It feels like a lovely place to take a quick break on. ♥We'll continue to be in touch here on Patreon while we're on the road, bt...

Postponing the "Voice Rest" 18+ TOY Extra, but will brb ♥

Hey all, unfortunately I think we're gonna have to call it on trying to finish this TOY extra before we move. We'll get right back to it as soon as we're set up on the other side, but it's just a bit too much to juggle right now.Suzana and I wanted to make sure we aren't leaving the $10 tier high and dry for too long, though; we tucked the sketches for the first four pages into the $10 dropbox ♥ Feel free to skip them if you'd rather not get spoiled and would rather rea...

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.58a - ASIDE

coming at you wet and dirty like an understaffed pool by the end of public swim, baby____4koma between scenes time! ♥ We're postponing the 18+ extra to be released on Aug 30th, rather than today— we've still got a couple pages of inks to finalize, and we wanna take our time getting it just right. (There's a censored teaser panel attached to this post, in the meantime!)

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.58 - SOME REAL DIRTY STUFF

"baby, you're gonna wish i... brought the... hand sanitizer to bed, it's gonna be so dirty" "okay not a good start, try again"_____Guys, we're always apologetic when a page takes us this long to make, and I know and appreciate that you guys know why we're so scattered lately, but I just really want to add to that this is my favorite page Suzana and I have ever made.

A new chapter; some life updates and Patreon news!

Hi guys! Things have been pretty hectic over here on our end, and it's come to the point where things are going to change pretty drastically for Suzana and I, so it's time for us to include you guys in what's going on in our life.A short while ago, my (Owen, hi ♥) family approached me with the opportunity to provide in-home care for an elderly relative of mine. Suzana, my family, and I have been in talks about it for a while, and we've finally come to the consensus that we will...

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.57 - INVITED, NOT DRAGGED

tempt me not, you know i could sabotage myself for hours

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.56 - SETTLE FOR THIS

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.55 - YOU'RE OVER IT

trust me liam i know what im talking about, i used to visit my mum's family out there and i would cry the whole way day when i had to leave. .....to be fair i was also a child, but i might still get a little teary eyed even today ngl

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.54 - BACK AND FORTH

i've been tossing this back and forth a lot, lately. usually when i'm supposed to be sleeping_______Very happy to be back! \o/Heads up— new dropbox passwords are going out tonight! ♥ I'll be popping a bunch of fun stuff in the folders throughout tonight & tomorrow, as well!

Pre-Page Update! Sketches and News ♥

We've just submitted our pilot to Slipshine (a NSFW comic collective) today, and we wanted to share the cover art with you! (I threw in some of our warm-up doodles for fun, as well, along with some of the WIP shots.)We're calling this 18+ story Take It From The Top: two rivals (with benefits) compete to get into a prestigious dance studio in LA, and give each other a hard time (lol) about each others' choreography. We had a lot of fun making this. We'll keep you posted about when...

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.53 - DON'T REALLY HAVE TO

i was just thinking the same thing.... and was also slightly worried that i would continue to think it, instead of sleeping? this seems better._______Just a quick heads up— Suzana and I are going to take a couple updates off so we can put the final touches on our Slipshine pilot, as well as get some work done on a TOY 18+ story. ♥ Finishing a full comic up always ends up causing us to burn the candle on both ends a little, so we could really use a little wiggle room to really focus on these ...

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.52 - DON'T GET THIS JOB

........oh, cough cough, maybe i should go on voice rest a little early,

[EARLY TOY UPDATE] PAGE 20.51 - WORRY ABOUT YOU

surely i can't possibly do better than i am capable of, correct? forgive me perhaps seeking existential validation too desperately here, but that IS right— right?
