BLTN: Sonic Lost World

I think with Sonic Generations, I made a vow that I would do video reviews for every major Sonic game to come out. So, Sonic Lost World was a given. This was the video that made me realize it's not worth it to capture in 480i anymore. The Wii U has weird overscan issues so this video came out extra blurry. Unfortunately, capturing in HD adds SIGNIFICANT amounts of time to my editing process, as we've all learned.

Crater Lake - Framerate Comparison

I'd heard the Sonic Boom patch smoothed out the framerate in the travel segments, but either I picked a really bad location to compare or the difference is almost imperceptible. Will investigate further after I get some sleep and maybe re-write part of my video review. In the mean time, have this and decide for yourself.

I dunno why I chose to ink this by hand, but I did. I think it might've gone faster, at least, so that's a plus. Unfortunately, my hand isn't so steady and I accidentally messed up on one image. Whoops! Onwards, to give these a quick layer of color!

Round and Round We Go

I need some Sonic 2006 footage for my upcoming Rise of Lyric videos (for comparison purposes), and during that I happened upon this. I swear, every time I play this game, I find something new that's broken. Despite my Roxio Gamecap saying it was set to 720p, this recorded in 480i. Sorry about that.

The Ghost of Perci (Preview clip)

Here's a weird bug that's definitely going in one of my Rise of Lyric videos: Amy calls out to Perci, an NPC we meet earlier in the game. It seems that maybe she was supposed to have a mission where she joins you in combat at some point in this cave area. In the game as it is now, Perci never leaves her spot in the village. Rise of Lyric - "Here I am!"

So the plan is to do a glitch montage video and then a video review. For the glitch montage, I'm going to try and keep it short, just like the Sonic 06 one. 11 minutes max. I have a LOT of footage. While recording I wrote down any bugs that happened and what video they happened in -- I'm not even halfway done sifting through what I recorded and I'm already at 35 clips.
