pcper posts
Soon...
AMD sent over RX 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT reference cards, and I have been testing them for a few days now. We are nearly ready to provide performance numbers, but you will have to wait just a little longer...
Podcast 702 Recording Session
A much longer version of the podcast. Obviously that means it's BETTER.
Podcast 701 Recording Session
We are well on our way to podcast 800.
PCPer Podcast 700 (preview)
It's just the intro. I just finished editing it and exported it. The rest of the show isn't done yet. -SP
Podcast 700 Recording Session
We're in the club. The 700 club.
Podcast 699 Recording Session
Almost two hours of banter and quasi-intelligent discourse!
Podcast 698 Recording Session
Back after a week off. And, due to travel next week, there will be ANOTHER week off to deal with before we get 699. Sorry!
Podcast 697 Recording Session
Five panelists, over two HOURS of content. What more needs to be said?
Podcast 696 Recording Session
This should have been linked here at least a day ago. Apologies!
Podcast 695 Recording Session
Two hours of semi-coherent chatter. Pure f-ing magic.
Podcast 694 Recording Session
This is more than half an hour LONGER than the edited version! And more is always better.
NOW this soundbar looks right...
There was something missing before.
Podcast 693 Recording Session
2:11:31 of live banter. How did you ever get so lucky.
Podcast 692 Recording Session
After Jeremy took off his side panel and pointed a box fan at his overheating system, we started another show! And then we kept going for about an hour and half. And it was HOT.
Podcast 691 Recording Session
The endless journey continues.
Podcast 690 Recording Session
Relive the magic. Or watch it for the first time. It's nearly two hours of 'content', regardless.
Podcast 689 Recording Session
Two week in a row I have failed to add the unedited version to Patrons without being reminded. Sorry! The next one will be up in a flash. A FLASH.
Podcast 688 Recording Session
Long feared lost, it turns out that Sebastian just forgot to link to this last week. Thank goodness we can all relive the magic of this two hour session.
Podcast 687 Recording Session
More than two hours of content. What more needs to be said?
Do soundbars need to light up like a Christmas tree?
What happens when you take a soundbar, and then put a row of RGB lights along the bottom of the front edge? GAMING. That's what happens. And if Creative hadn't done this, obviously their soundbar would be wholly inappropriate for gaming.Lighting aside, this Katana V2 sounds very good so far. I wasn't expecting much, particularly when I saw that the sub did not have an onboard amp, but the system has a full sound. I think the low ceiling helps in this basement office area. Will try up...
Podcast 686 Recording Session
Relive the magic that was. The magic that IS. And if you look closely, you may just get a look at Josh's legs.
Podcast 685 Recording Session
Long presumed lost, the footage from the 685th recorded PCPer Podcast was recently unearthed in a forgotten storage facility on the Warner lot. Every effort has been made to restore this historic footage to its original condition, as our digital archivists painstakingly cleaned each digital frame, and graded the footage against other, existing episodes for color accuracy.
Podcast 684 Recording Session
We did it. Live. And Brett wasn't there this time. BUT we did have Kent in his place. Plus, it's shorter than usual!
Podcast 683 Recording Session
See the version they didn't want you to see. ALL of the embarrassing moments, captured LIVE, and preserved FOREVER.
Podcast 682 Recording Session
Josh is BACK. But we weren't in the best form. Rusty, I think is the best way to describe it. Plus Brett had some power issues related to a storm or something. On the plus side, this version is about an hour longer than the final cut.
Podcast 681 Recording Session
Relive the time that Kent destroyed his capture device and went from a Sony a6000 back to his webcam. (That stuff didn't make it into the final version.)
Podcast 680 Recording Session
Not as long as usual - OR WAS IT? That's right - if you only saw the edited version, you'd think this week;s pod (or 'cast if you prefer) was just one hour long. Wrong. It was nearly TWO hours long. The proof is linked/embedded above. You're welcome, and I'm sorry.
Podcast 679 Recording Session
It's twice as long as the final version, which means it's twice as good. Plus it has (BUMP) more (BUMP) annoying (BUMP) microphone sounds (BUMP) than the edited version! (Not sure who was guilty, but someone kept hitting their mic/mic stand.)
Ogel Batter 64
Jeremy was feeling pretty good on Wednesday evening.
Podcast 678 Recording Session
The second try worked.
