IEM Cliffnotes: Tentative Titles
After some thinking it over, I've decided to do something a little more in-depth than the previous Cliffnotes series that I've done a while back. And so, here's a list of all the tentative names for the next few cliffnote articles that I'll post when I get back. Also serves as a checklist for myself, so win-win for all of us.(Spoiler alert for those who'd rather read the articles when they come out, so last chance to turn back!)23/04/20 update: Added Verum 1, Mofasest M14, KBE...
Premium graph comparison tool has been implemented.
Yeah it's been some time coming, but functionality of the public graph comparison tool has now been restricted, with the full features now on the premium tool. The core functionality of the tool still remains and everyone is still able to do comparisons with my data if so desired. Public users cannot use target curves within the tool and are restricted to comparing up to 2 data points. Premium users can compare up to... I don't even know how many to be honest.Till the month's end, I&#...

Tin HiFi P1 Review
Tentative title: "Good, Not Great"IntroductionThe P1 is now currently Tin HiFi’s newest flagship priced at an MSRP of $169. It makes use of a micro planar-magnetic driver, similar to those used in Audeze’s iSine series but downscaled to fit in an actual IEM shell that can be fully sealed. The P1 can be purchased on Linsoul and is currently on Drop till 27/06.BackgroundLinsoul has now provided me two units of the P1, one of which was before the P1 went into full production. I had less ...
Prototype version of the Sony IER-Z1R video review
For context, I probably did about 4-5 reshoots of the IER-Z1R video review (link here if you missed it: https://youtu.be/JmxB4CdmZ24). This was probably the only one apart from the final version that made it out of the editing phase. For my dear Patrons, here's an exclusive look at this unscripted blunder before I finally settled on the properly prepared, deadpan character of the final edition.
Shanling ME100 Review
IntroductionThe ME100 is Shanling's first foray into the IEM market after primarily dealing with digital audio players. Sporting a single dynamic driver and retailing at $120 MSRP, it plays at a highly competitive area of the industry. This unit was kindly provided by Shanling for a full review. The SignatureThe ME100 has a somewhat unique tuning in that its "base signature" seems to be that of a typical "V-shaped chifi dynamic" IEM, having the classic 2-5k peak that these type...
Tin Audio T3 Review
IntroductionThe T3 is Tin Audio's newest flagship model, moving away from their tried-and-true dual dynamic setup and instead going for a classic BA-DD hybrid. First released on Massdrop at $60 from its $80 MSRP, their first drop amassed nearly two thousand sales making it one of the most successful debuts in Massdrop. My T3 was provided to me by Linsoul for a full review. The SignatureThe response of the T3 is mild V-shaped, slightly leaning towards the higher frequencies. Relatively tame bas...
Tin Audio T2 Pro Review
IntroductionThe T2 Pro is the self-proclaimed "improvement" to the original T2 model that brought Tin Audio into the limelight. It retails for the same price though just like its predecessor, it also goes on sale often and is usually quoted at its commonly-discounted price of US$30.It does seem to be more a mild tweak of the T2 than an overhauled upgrade, which makes the T2 Pro less different and more similar to the T2. In fact they're almost identical aesthetically, making it hard t...
Tin Audio T2 Review
IntroductionThe T2 is the IEM that put Tin Audio on the map. I'm also severely late to the party considering that nearly everyone has been hounding me for a review for half a year... but hey, better late than never.Sporting two discrete dynamic drivers, it's a configuration that's rather rare in the industry where everyone seems to be moving towards a balanced armature and dynamic driver hybrid design. It also goes for 50USD at MSRP, though "sales" dropping it down to $30 are...
