SKETCHBOOK: witches & oddities // nsfw-ish?
an assortment of witches, creepy angels, a demon or two, and some other monster folks! including the trilobite-inspired merperson i've been thinking about for a while, a very glamorous witch, and some sassy-looking deer-headed people.// art + characters © me.
WALLPAPER(S!): September // nsfw x3
this month i've got not one, not two, but THREE wallpapers for you! ... because i could not decide which version of the winter ladies wallpaper i liked best, so i'm giving you both. they're all highly nsfw, beware/enjoy!// art + logan + the winter ladies © me; ariel © kubi.
EARLY ACCESS: Mutuality // nsfw
and that mess is just the beginning.after i posted about my art block, some suggestions involved logan and/or ariel, and at least one person mentioned monsters masturbating--so i figured i'd combine the two. but BOY was this a challenge to colour?! very happy with the outcome though!// art + logan © me; ariel © kubi.

Monster of the Month: Poll for OCTOBER
all the monsters on this poll have been suggested by patreons - shoutout to LostMisfits, Kira, and Dimitry Mazur! :D if the options look familiar it's because they've appeared on a couple of past polls, but i'm bringing them all back so that a patreon-suggested monster is sure to win this month! you can vote for several options (but try to stick to 3 or fewer), i'm excited to see which one'll win!and speaking of suggesting monsters: you can leave your own requests for future ...
August MOTM: Camazotz/Bat monster painting process // nsfw
here's the process for august's MOTM painting; you can download the attached .zip below, it contains 22 pngs and 1 gif.drawing this started outas "oh godi have no idea what pose to go for" but quickly turned into "oh hey I should do one of those from behind, bend your lover in half poses, because 1) it's a Good Pose and 2) it provides a good opportunity to display the bat boy's wings by having him spread them out." I knew early on that i wanted the picture to show...
August MOTM: Camazotz/Bat monster concept sketch + design commentary // sfw-ish
once again, this month's monster of the month entailed doing some research, because i wanted to learn more about camazotz before attempting to design a monster inspired by them. "camazotz" seems to refer both to a specific mayan god and a type of bat monster; as with my quetzalcoatl-inspired piece i didn't want my character to be the Camazotz; rather he's a camazotz, an anthropomorphised bat creature.camazotz seem to draw on vampire bats and false vampire bats, so i looked to...
August MOTM: Camazotz/Bat monster ("sketch") // sfw
i'm apparently keeping up my habit of accidentally spending so much time on the MOTM "sketch" that it turns into a coloured drawing instead--this one's even got some cool lighting and blur and shit! :Othis also marks the first time i've done a sfw MOTM drawing; i just had this mental image of the bat monster and his lover cuddling up-side-down and really wanted to illustrate it... here's the picture the other way up;// art + characters © me.
August MOTM: Camazotz/Bat monster (painting) // nsfw
the winner of august's monster of the month poll: "camazotz / bat monster" ! i've got a few bat-themed monsters but none who's this much of a proper were-bat, so drawing this guy was a blast. also, painting this made me remember how much i love drawing wings and rocks...remember that you can suggest monsters for future MOTM polls by commenting on this post/any MOTM post, or send me a DM!// art + characters © me.
OC Spotlight August: Weshau // nsfw
it's funny that weshau got featured right after nian, because weshau actually started out as an alternate universe version of nian. he quickly turned into a very different character, with a very different design and personality, but you'll notice some similarities to their stories. buckle up, enjoy the read, and feel free to ask as many questions about weshau as you want, whether sfw or nsfw!---weshau is a starbeast, a species created by daiva, the goddess of the night sky, truth, and cl...
PROCESS PACK: Unlikely love // nsfw
access the process pack for this image of tha'ra and soha by downloading the attached .zip below - contains 24 pngs and 1 gif!soha (aka mezfirah) and tha'ra (aka khuthlya) is one of our oldest character pairings, i've drawn a few smutty doodles and half-finished pictures of them before, but this is really the first time i've completed a coloured image of them. and i'm incredibly happy with the result! the main challenges of this painting was 1) to render tha'ra's bone...
SKETCHBOOK: Weshau sketch page // sfw
so i was looking at pictures of tigers underwater and was inspired to draw some swimmy weshaus... along with some design doodles (including a sketch to show what his actual teeth look like; i realised i have never drawn him with his mouth open before??).// art + character © me.

EARLY ACCESS: winter ladies // nsfw
remember these girls from a few MOTMs ago? the winter monster and her huntress girlfriend are back, and this time they brought a new toy. (it took all my willpower and restraint not to title this post "popsicle.")// art + characters © me.
SKETCHBOOK: mutuality WIP // nsfw
someone on tumblr asked for monsters masturbating and a bunch of people asked for more logan and/or ariel, so i figured i'd combine the two =v= currently in the process of colouring this lineart!// art + logan © me; ariel © kubi.

sitri sure is a lucky boy.(i aim to colour and finish the upper right hand (double blowjob) one ... and maybe the lower right hand (POV) one too?)// art + logan + sitri © me; ariel © kubi.
EARLY ACCESS: fangs x3 // sfw
this is how i'm dealing with my art block; drawing teef. i've been wanting to do teeth/mouth studies of some of my characters for a while now (#oralfixation), and then my patron Oli suggested i draw "some more scary logan showing his beautiful fangs" - how could i possible say no? <3 (i was originally going to add some blood to their muzzles, too, but i sort of forgot to plan for it and opted out of adding it on as a hindsight.) the other characters are luca and nian, and i'v...
help me with my art block?
the picture says it all! the only part i'm going to repeat is this: any art i draw based on/inspired by the ideas you send me will be made available to patrons first, as early access, and then i'll make it available to the public (= post it to tumblr) later on!but this post is public, so anyone can send me ideas! comment below, or send me a DM if you want to stay anonymous. <3

The "coming soon" stuff WILL come soon!
Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know that the "coming soon" posts I uploaded the other day WILL be updated with the actual content as soon as possible! I am half done with a couple of paintings, a process pack, the oc spotlight, and the close-ups. But a few unexpected things happened (again - story of my fucking life) and I'm currently dealing with that. For example my bike broke and I can't really afford to repair it - but I have to, because I definitely can't afford a bus ...
SKETCHBOOK - Raikyou design sketches // sfw
a sketch sheet feat. design doodles of my yokai character raikyou. for the longest while i didn't know what i wanted him to look like, but then one day it just clicked. gotta work on his colours a bit, but so far i'm so happy with his floofy self. in his human form he looks so very kind, honest, and cinnamon rolly - and then his yokai form is all >:V// art + character © me.
EARLY ACCESS: Unlikely love // nsfw
tha'ra, also known as khuthlya, is a god of vengeance, harsh justice, violence, killing, hunting, and murder; soha, or mezfirah, is a god of mercy, forgiveness, redemption, mending, healing, and fertility. they were created as each other's opposites and certain other gods kept them from meeting, but they knew something was missing and were drawn to one another before even knowing of the other's existence. one day, soha ventures into tha'ra's realm, and from that day on not ev...
CLOSE-UPS: pale // nsfw
i find it so very #satisfying when the colour schemes of thumbnails go together so beautifully... download the attached .zip to access these smutty close-ups!// art + vaska + nian + tha'ra © me; amato + tu shen + soha © kubi.
EARLY ACCESS: monster boys x 4 // sfw
a few of my many monster lads; maros, kazuo, nian, and weshau! i almost added lil cat toys for all of them to chase -- well, except weshau, who is apparently Above such nonsense.drawing relatively simple pictures like these (just one character, no background, no excessive amount of detail) is so therapeutic, plus i did some minor style experimentation and had fun with poses. and i high key want to draw a bunch of my other characters in the same way... any suggestions as to who should be next?// ...
SKETCHBOOK: Renza + Iskandar WIP // nsfw
working on this painting of the golden boys =v=// art + iskandar © me; renza © kubi.
PROCESS: Rosy // nsfw
here's the process pack for this painting, feat. nian and tu shen. you can download the .zip below; it contains 24 pngs and 1 gif. the step-by-step images are pretty self-explanatory--i used a rather painterly method, and didn't utilise that many photoshop tricks this time around. the following discussion touches not only on the process, but also on some things that i was reflecting on while painting and while putting together this process pack.the first few steps are the same as so many...
