I think back in the day I would do all refining and sketching on one layer. Nowadays I do sketching and refining on two or more layers, so that I don't spend a bunch of time erasing.

I was using a rougher brush to refine my sketches back during this time, but I can't imagine it was easy to do this. I must have thought it looked more artistic and impressive. But my method for thumbnails doesn't seem to have changed much.

I have three ideas for short comics that I would like to do before the next long-form comic.
