Preferences (character gender)
One year has passed since I made polls like these and I think is time to see if something has changed since. These doesn't mean I will stop creating something but I can use it as feedback to help me choose when I have various ideas to make. Next one will be about style.

Celierra — YCH (NSFW) *Updated Final Versions
Whew ... finally finished. This is the project with more characters in a single scene that I have ever done (and of the ones that has taken me the longest to complete, thanks for your patience).Characters/Special thanks to:Celierra (center) by Celierra and Darvian, Cole (left) by Cole RS, Skynex (right) and Rajak (left back) by Rajak, Maci (right back) by Maci, and anon.Note about content: This image contains gang bang and soft bondage (for those who don't like these themes)...Full image and...
Vulpix Composition - Art Journal
Some rules and things I had in mind when creating the composition for this piece.Golden ratio. I didn't draw it and then adjusted things over it, since that could be too limiting composition wise. I had it in mind and imagined how that could help when drawing the character though. I've found with years that I commonly use similar arcs in shape and approximated ratios unconsciously since they're pleasing to the eye, so when I get the chance I try to think in this shape since is fun to...

Body Construction - Kemono 01
Digitizing some new/old notes now on this subject for the journal. One of the most difficult things drawing the figure is trying to draw body shapes without knowing how they are or look from various angles. If it helps someone or just curiosity, here are some of the common shapes I use or have used for quick sketches, varying the levels of stylization or complexity.Part 02 of this series: https://www.patreon.com/posts/24130061

Ori — Steps Process (Gif)
I've been trying to experiment more with color lately (one of the motives that I created the color posts recently). This painting was interesting because it was an exercise in using all hues from the color wheel in one piece, at least in a more expressive/painterly way than a realistic one.About the process I started with a very rough color sketch, with few main colors as base. And from there I went adding detail and secondary colors, either directly with textured brushes or with layer effec...

Harmonizing Colors II – Triadic Scheme
Another technique to get color harmony using a limited palette, in this case a triadic color scheme (3 colors at equal distance).Doing this chart I realized that I tend to favor a lot primaries (red, yellow and blue) over secondaries (green, orange, purple), at least when I'm not using complementary schemes.---Part I: https://www.patreon.com/posts/complementary-21565435and Part I examples: https://www.patreon.com/posts/complementary-21975562
