Indoor Ant/Outdoor Ant - Hunter x Hunter ep. 86-88: Media Club Plus S01E27
Sometimes a hunter has to kill. In Hunter x Hunter sometimes a hunter has to kill for love. Sometimes that's heroic, and sometimes that's scary. I guess it's more about who you kill, and how mean you seem while doing it. Luckily our friends Gon and Killua don't seem very mean at all. And neither do their new assassin adversaries, which is also lucky. Palm on the other hand, Palm Siberia, she's scary. Scarier even than the full suite of Chimera Ant Royal Guards, now fully spla...

It's A Punch Party - Hunter x Hunter ep. 83-85: Media Club Plus S01E26
Kite, Gon and Killua are deep into the NGL now, and everything is going extremely well. So why does Kite feel sick? Why can't he stop worrying? It feels like there's something he's forgetting and while he does his best to care for his two new companions, it won't be long before he finds out what's waiting for them when they reach their destination. Fortunately, as Kite ventures deeper into the Ant forest and the Squadron Leaders start to figure out what Nen is, and how they c...

Welcome to Media Club Plus: a podcast about diving into the media that interests us and the stories that excite us. At the same time as we learn what a Chimera Ant is, we learn about how devistating they can be if left unchecked. After meeting up with Kite, Gon and Killua are working with him and his team to track down the location of a new, potentially very dangerous, Chimera Ant Queen. Unfortunately she's taken up residence in a politically and geographically isolated island: the perfect b...

As dangerous as she's ever been, or alternately: The Power of Yaoi. The new episode PALISADE 58: Above the Earth Pt. 2 is out in the main feed, and proves once again that the only thing more menacing than Austin & his clocks is Keith when emboldened with a small gang. We’re not in Latania, BUDDY. This season, we're watching 2011's Hunter x Hunter, based on the manga by Yoshihiro T...

Eyes of A Killer 05
You, who have been sending me poisoned letters: I have determined your address. You sit forward, tongue wets your lips, you wait for the news of my demise after each letter you send but no, I deny you that, I speak at the lectures and hang my hat in the cloakroom of the chophouse and you rage and gnash and pick up your poison pen to write again. Grind those fat bugs down into the ichor that would kill a horse with one flared nostril scent. Not I. I cannot be killed by poisons. Coward, you should...
