Dwarf Cleric WIP, New YouTube Video, and Updates!
I've never done a dwarf prior to this commission. I was a bit worried initially because dwarven styled things aren't my favorite exactly. It turns out the nice guy commissioning it (also a Patron, so hi to you if you are reading this haha), isn't crazy about the standard dwarven aesthetic either. I think she came out beautiful. I tried to help you guys out by making one of the wings mostly support less :) I will be doing another action pose for this model that will probably be a headache, but gorgeous all the same. This was made for the $50 custom mini tier. These are the best wings I've made. I actually used a reference showing the skeleton of a wing. Who woulda thought that would help haha Jokes. To all my fellow artists, use references every chance you get!!

Thanks to Steeve O. for the request!So this started with a heavy MTG Hivelord influence... and then I kinda got carried away doing my own thing. So apologies if it deviated more than you'd like! It sure came out cool, just perhaps not a standard Sliver.Also, I updated the Cockatrice decorative base. There were some hiccups which made in unprintable. It has been fixed and tested now! Cockatrice WIP
I've played with the design of this a LOT. I really wanted to do something that struck a balance between the dragon and bird look. I was actually a bit nervous to share this one, because it is already looking fairly non-traditional for a Cockatrice. The head is mostly done. I'll be adding wear and tear on the beak, and a few stray feather in his plume crest thing.Thought this would be a cool progress shot to share because you can see the whole model in different stages.
