So I got into chess as some of you know. I get nervous playing against real people but I’ve played a few friends and relatives and have been slowly improving.Although one night late last year I played a friend while we were both a bit tipsy, he had nothing but a king and pawns on the board and I was just kinda messing with him cause he refused to resign. EXCEPT I ACCIDENTALLY CAUSED A DRAW and he refuses to have a rematch 😤

My husband and I recently played a one-shot as a duo. I was an artificer gnome named Willard and he was a barbarian Goliath named Njarl ('Giant' in giant language). Backstory - I found him on the battlefield with a chunk of his head missing, fixed him up and now he owes me a life debt. Also, he’s mute except when he rages in which case he speaks in WWE catchphrases and Mr Freeze from Batman Forever style puns. The whole point was me being attached to him like a baby which was very fun!...
