QUICK TIP - Making Kicks in Kick 3
by request, and this video went a lil longer than expected but it's got some gems in it for you!the advantage to doing this is control - obviously tossing a sample in there is great, but with anything else in life, the more control means more opportunity to perfect (or ruin haha)
Spectral Sub compressor settings
settings I use for my drop busthe purpose of this is to essentially "limit" the sub bass so when you're varying basses in a complex pattern it evens out the sub volume.one thing i notice about amateur mixes is that the sub basses vary during patterns and that sounds less good to my ears!
