I was thinking about how --in the comic-- we've lost a few soldiers after coming back. Brian Patterson got out with pretty serious PTSD; Philip Albright was killed in Iraq. Cecelia Glass was badly wounded, and with a leg and an eye missing, was med-boarded out. I am doing some character art for a friend and supporter who liked my stuff from Way Back When; back when I was doing furry stuff. He really liked the old "Empires: The Ace of Spades" story and thought up a character set in that universe so I am working on "LT. Rhein", a commander on a T-89 mobile assault gun.
