WIP - Xen pg 10
Hello again, here are the WIP shots of this page of the XEN comic.it's kinda the same process in every page. Some end up looking better and others average?I don't like pages with only lineart, I think they look boring that's why I end up painting all of my comics ahaha. Now I know it's part time and other a style of choice, but it has to be decided not just made for the sake of it.see those cuts? those are made to make fit the sketch and panels in there into the real page format ...

WIP - xen pg 9
I hope it's interesting seeing this kind of things for you.SKETCH/SCRIPT LEVELI love how different or similar the lineart is after the script :DLINEART ONLYBASE COLOR:This is a nice example to notice how sometimes in the same base color I apply some "painting" just to have as base before adding the cell shade later.Light gradient over some parts of the character are a part of this. I don't do this all the time really, but it gives an addional volume to colorThe planet also have s...

Commission made for Nailick" rel="noopener noreferrer">NailickI've had to draw these Avali characters a couple of times in this latest batch of commissions. They're kinda fun to draw, but I've had some issues trying to keep their simple head designs or the one's I've had as references are very stylished anime? idkanyway, I quite enjoyed making this drawing, I made it as I was making one of comic's panels :)remember you can read my webcomics:https://derideal.com...

WIP: X-E-N page 8
Hey guys! it's been a while since I uploaded one of these!!!cool thing I can add pictures to the description, so this blog entry will be more fun!Everything as always starts in a rough sketch I made on paper :)most of the time this sketch is enough to get a proper panel layout and poses. After the sketch is placed over the format, the panels cut and everything. the definitive lineart is made.Flat colors and backgrounds are placed.I usually color the backgrounds first, so it help me imagine th...

Tara x Martinez
Hey! I got a new pinup done for you.So this is sort of Tara's fantasy after spending some time hanging out with Martinez? she kinda falls in love easily I imagine (kind of her Xeno flaw, since they're mostly asexual normally after they were mass produced as workfoce)I wanted to make just something elegantly erotic? Ike told me he would like to see Tara in the next pinup so this was the result.I'm also considering using this style for pinup more in the future, it's a more natural ...
Kat and her classic car
commission made for fl4nnit also included a character design in some sketches that was used later for drawing the kitty in this picture.I rarely draw any kind of vehicles to be honest. Just sometimes as they take a lot more time to draw than characters (maybe I lack practice x.x)I'm not familiar with cars, I only know the car is a "TAUNUS"but I'm kinda satisfied the way this picture turned out! it was a fun drawing to make. I'm uploading the desktop wallpaper size here.rememb...
